Cycle Shrewsbury
What is Cycle Shrewsbury?
Cycle Shrewsbury is Shropshire Council's campaign to get more
people cycling more often in Shrewsbury. The campaign started in
2008 after Shrewsbury was chosen to be a cycling town by Cycling
England. Cycling town funding ended in 2011; however Cycle
Shrewsbury continues to promote and improve cycling in
Shrewsbury.
Read the end-of-programme report for
information about what Cycle Shrewsbury achieved between 2008 and
2011.
Shropshire Council has expanded many of the activities started
by Cycle Shrewsbury to the rest of the county, with a focus on
Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Oswestry.
